01PAIRING
Alertness, considered.
Caffeine meets L-theanine. A familiar alertness ingredient and a tea amino acid, paired because human studies have explored their combined effects on attention.
The pairing logic
Caffeine acts at adenosine A1 and A2A receptors. L-theanine brings a different neurochemical profile: laboratory work has investigated its interaction with glutamate-receptor sites, while its precise contribution in people is an open research question. We pair them because human attention studies have investigated the combination directly. Two distinct ingredients, with a deliberate research rationale.

Specific tasks studied in people
A 27-person trial reported better attention switching and less distraction with the combination versus placebo. Another found a positive interaction on delayed word-recognition reaction time. These task-specific findings are why this pairing anchors Flow's research story. Results vary with task, dose and population; a 2026 athlete trial found no added visuomotor benefit.
Published ingredient studies inform Flow's design. The finished formula requires its own efficacy and safety validation.

02PAIRING
The architecture of a signal.
Two roles in acetylcholine biology, paired with purpose. Alpha-GPC supplies choline; huperzine A is studied for inhibiting the enzyme that breaks acetylcholine down.
The pairing logic
Neurons use choline to synthesize acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in attention and memory. Acetylcholinesterase helps end that signal by breaking it down. Alpha-GPC supplies choline; huperzine A inhibits the breakdown enzyme. Bringing these complementary roles together is the biochemical rationale behind the pairing.
Alpha-GPC provides a source
A neurotransmitter made from choline
Huperzine A inhibits the enzyme
Alpha-GPC research has reported improvements on selected Stroop measures. That study did not show significant N-back improvements, and a 15-person huperzine A trial found no cognitive difference during exercise. The pairing's foundation is acetylcholine biology; its combined effect in healthy adults is a question for direct study.
Published ingredient studies inform Flow's design. The finished formula requires its own efficacy and safety validation.

03PAIRING
Botanical origins. Deliberate design.
Mucuna's dopamine precursor meets a green-tea catechin studied in its metabolism. A deliberate pairing built around a research question: how these ingredients interact along the L-DOPA pathway.
The pairing logic
AADC can convert L-DOPA into dopamine. COMT takes L-DOPA down a different metabolic route, forming 3-O-methyldopa. EGCG has been investigated for inhibiting that COMT route. The pairing idea is purposeful: bring together a dopamine precursor and a tea catechin studied for how that precursor is metabolized.
A dopamine precursor
A route in L-DOPA metabolism
A catechin studied at that route
Laboratory work found that EGCG inhibited L-DOPA methylation; a rat study using L-DOPA plus carbidopa also found reduced methylation. These findings give the pairing a concrete research rationale. Human translation is the next question: a 24-person EGCG-only study found increased red-cell COMT activity rather than inhibition and did not test this pairing or cognition. Human focus and tolerability benefits still need direct study.
Published ingredient studies inform Flow's design. The finished formula requires its own efficacy and safety validation.

THE EVIDENCE BEHIND THE DESIGN
Each pairing has a stated rationale, a visible evidence level and links to its sources. Published ingredient studies inform the design; they do not establish Flow's efficacy or safety. The finished formula requires its own validation.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
The product, the research and what comes next.
Flow is FORTIS Form LLC's first powder drink mix in development, designed around three ingredient pairings and a single-serve stick format.
Adults navigating demanding work and study: professionals, founders and university students. Its single-serve stick format is being developed around a simple ritual for those routines.
Every ingredient has a defined role. Caffeine with L-theanine draws on human attention research. Alpha-GPC with huperzine A explores complementary roles in acetylcholine biology. Mucuna with EGCG draws on research into dopamine-precursor metabolism. The design brings these three rationales into one format.
Each chapter shows its evidence level and links to the original research. Caffeine with L-theanine has direct human attention studies; the other pairings draw on mechanistic or preclinical work. Ingredient research guides the design. Flow-specific efficacy and safety require separate validation.
This is your first look at Flow's formulation and packaging direction. Final specifications, serving information and packaging will be published as they are confirmed. The stick artwork is a packaging concept.
Launch timing, pricing and availability will be announced here at fortisform.com when confirmed. Until then, explore the three pairings and the thinking behind Flow.
